Which Italian voice should I pick?
Either works for most use cases. Luca reads slightly more authoritative, suited to news and corporate content. Rosa reads warmer, suited to fiction, ads, and lifestyle content. Both support the full eighteen MAI expressive styles.
Do you support regional Italian accents?
MAI Voice 2 ships only Standard Italian voices. For Sicilian, Neapolitan, Venetian, or other regional Italian, switch to the Gemini multilingual model and write in the regional text. Gemini approximates the accent based on input.
Can the voices handle Italian apostrophes and elisions?
Yes. The model handles common elisions (l'amore, l'uomo, un'amica) and troncamento (bello → bel, santo → san) correctly. Italian diacritics (à, è, é, ì, ò, ù) are preserved in PDF upload.
